Stories over Supper - Spring '17

We are excited to be partnering with Higher Ground and Open Table to once again celebrate sustainable stories, highlight local producers and share deliciously seasonal foods.

Hosted by The Social Food Project, this unique story-telling event will be held at Higher Ground, where guests will hear the inspirational story of Open Table, who use surplus food that would otherwise be thrown away and turn it into nutritious meals to share with the community, in order to reduce food insecurity and food waste.

Dinner is $65 and will include a three-course share-style meal with a strong focus on local spring produce, underscoring the importance of knowing where our food comes from. Food will once again be prepared by chef Ben Mac (OakridgeSupernormalTop Paddock and Clooney NZ).

Drinks will be available for purchase from the Higher Ground bar. We are happy to accomedate any dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan and/or glunten free.

You can expect generous and innovative food, inspiring stories from local legends and a uniquely fun dining experience.

We are more than just talk here at the Social Food Project! We will be donating $250 to Open Table to help them continue their amazing work.
